After a year off, the Chevy Trax is back for 2024 with a complete redesign and exciting changes. It sports a longer wheelbase, which makes it one of the biggest vehicles in its segment. There are now five trims in theĀ 2024 Chevy Trax, rather than just the two we had in previous model years. Let’s look at what each trim has to offer.

LS
For 2024, the name is probably the only thing this vehicle shares with the last-generation Trax. The redesigned exterior has a sporty look, with the base LS getting 17-inch steel wheels, power side mirrors, and LED lights. Like all the other models, the LS is powered by a 1.2L turbo engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission to produce 137 horsepower.
The Trax’s interior is now more spacious thanks to the longer wheelbase. The base LS gets cloth seats, an 8-inch color touchscreen display, and a four-speaker audio system. There is an available LS Convenience Package that adds remote start, heated front seats, and heated outside mirrors. Like all the other models, the LS also gets the Chevy Safety Assist suite of driver assistance features.
1RS
The 1RS adds a sportier flair to the 2024 Trax with unique RS styling on the outside. It has 18-inch aluminum wheels, gloss black mirror caps, and an available power sunroof. The LS Convenience Package is now standard in the 1RS. You will also have red interior accents and a wrapped and heated flat-bottom steering wheel.
LT
Stepping up to the LT gives you 17-inch aluminum wheels, body-color side mirrors, roof rails, and signature LED daytime running lamps. The LT adds Evotex trim to the standard cloth seats and upgrades from manual AC to a single-zone automatic climate control system. This trim also gets a tech bump, with a larger 11-inch infotainment system, an 8-inch driver display, and a 6-speaker audio system.
2RS
The 2RS builds upon the sporty design of the 1RS with 19-inch wheels, RS exterior trim with a unique grille, and black bowtie emblems. The interior gets standard Evotex-trimmed seats with red accents, heated front seats, and a wrapped and heated flat-bottom steering wheel. You’re also going to have similar tech upgrades as those in the LT.
ACTIV
As the top trim in the Trax lineup, ACTIV gets unique styling and features. The exterior has 18-inch black aluminum wheels, a black grille with chrome accents, and ACTIV badging. Inside, the driver gets an 8-way power seat with 2-way lumbar support and a wrapped steering wheel. Interior tech and comfort features remain the same as those in the LT and 2RS trims.
